Belinda Bowles
2024 Goochland County Christmas Mother
The Goochland County Christmas Mother Association is proud to welcome Belinda Bowles as the 2024 Christmas Mother. Belinda was born and raised in London, England, emigrated to America and settled in Newport News, VA, working as a Registered Nurse at Riverside Hospital where she met her husband James H. Bowles, Jr. while he was completing his Medical Residency. Belinda and James have two children, both graduates of Goochland High School. Over the years, Belinda has been involved in numerous community projects from PTA President, Goochland County School Health Advisory Committee, Advisory Committee member for planning of Goochland High School/Middle School Complex, Goochland/Hanover District Health Department Board Member,
Goochland Free Clinic (Goochland Cares) Board Member, YMCA Board Member, and CASA Board Member. Belinda has been working in the Healthcare field for over thirty-five years and is currently a Senior Nurse Consultant for Genex Services.
